ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

To maintain a safe and reliable platform, all users of qr8.tech must adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

1. PROHIBITED CONTENT

You may not use qr8.tech to host, link to, or promote:

  • Illegal Material: Content that violates local, state, or international laws.
  • Phishing & Fraud: Pages designed to deceive users into providing passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive information.
  • Malware: Links that trigger the download of viruses, spyware, or malicious software.
  • Hate Speech: Content that incites violence or promotes hatred based on race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender.
  • Unauthorized Promotion: Direct links to regulated goods such as illegal drugs, firearms, or counterfeit goods.
  • Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery: Hosting or linking to “revenge porn” or other non-consensual sexual content.

2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Spamming: Using our Service to distribute unsolicited bulk messages or to manipulate search engine rankings (SEO spam).
  • Scraping: Using automated scripts or “bots” to harvest data or usernames from our platform.
  • Impersonation: Creating a profile that misleadingly implies you are a famous individual, a government official, or a representative of a brand you do not own.
  • System Interference: Attempting to bypass our security measures, overwhelm our servers (DDoS), or interfere with the proper working of the Site.
  • Cyber-Squatting: Registering multiple usernames with the intent to “sit” on them or sell them for profit.

3. SENSITIVE CONTENT LABELING

If you host content that is “Adult” in nature (where legal) or contains graphic violence, you must enable the “Sensitive Content” warning (if provided in your account settings) to ensure visitors are warned before viewing. Failure to label sensitive content may result in the removal of your profile.

4. ENFORCEMENT

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a user has violated this AUP. We may:

  1. Issue a warning.
  2. Remove specific links or content.
  3. Suspend or terminate the account permanently.
  4. Report illegal activities to law enforcement.

Final Implementation Checklist for qr8.tech

  1. Footer Links: Your website footer should ideally have a “Legal” column with links to:
    • Terms of Service
    • Privacy Policy
    • Cookie Policy
    • Acceptable Use Policy
    • Refund Policy
  2. Reporting Tool: For the AUP to be effective, add a small “Report this Profile” button at the bottom of every user’s qr8.tech page. This allows the community to flag phishing or hate speech for you.
  3. The “Disclaimer” Location: While the full Disclaimer can be its own page, many link-in-bio services put a tiny “mini-disclaimer” at the bottom of every user page: “qr8.tech does not endorse the content above.”
